Staffing Services

At TDB we take great care to understand our client's business and culture. It's only by doing this that we can successfully match TDB candidates to our client's positions. We focus on a candidate's personality and client "fit" as well as his/her technical match. Our candidate sourcing process is a subscriber network and referral-driven process from a database of over 120,000 consultant resumes.

TDB's goal is to use proven contractors who have represented us previously. We attract a highly skilled workforce by adhering to our core values including honesty, respect, understanding the client environment and understanding the contractor's needs. We want and expect our contractors to remain with TDB.

TDB offers a unique screening process, guaranteeing face-to-face prescreening of 90%+ of the candidates submitted. This is most effective when combined with a tightly managed client interface. TDB's interviewing is then targeted to ensure that the candidates possessing the strongest skills in sought-after fields are brought in once contact has been established.

TDB recruiters also possess very strong technical skills. Thus, we have the knowledge to validate our candidate's technical skills. Our recruiters are also trained on behavioral questioning to better understand our candidate's motivations and ultimately qualify them for the ideal client environment.

In addition to our comprehensive screening process, and background check (drug, criminal, and driving record) process, TDB recruiters perform three employee reference checks. These checks target his/her last five years of employment. The references provide a client's perspective on the candidate's technical, personal, and professional skills.

We believe that our thorough pre-screening, technical testing, and reference checking process is of great benefit to our clients. This thorough process allows us to properly gauge the candidate's competence and suitability for the particular role and working environment in question. The amount of time that our client may waste by interviewing inappropriate candidates is thus eliminated.

Candidates

Because of TDB's wide spectrum of workforce solutions the type of candidate we recruit varies dramatically. Our light industrial clients require candidates that possess high school education with some light industrial experience.

Our professional services clients require a college education focusing on engineering and/or construction management as well as minimum industry related job experience.

Time Attendance

TDB utilizes a fully integrated package provided by Checkdate Solutions. Checkdate Solutions is the largest independent payroll solutions company in the twenty state mid-west region. TDB’s integrated package consists of two different components, the Attendance Enterprise software and a badge terminal (electronic time clock). These components save time by electronically transferring data to our payroll department.

The Attendance Enterprise software schedules and tracks TDB employees working in multiple locations. This software is designed to track time, manage time, manage attendance information and provide punch-in to paycheck automation. This data is transformed into powerful information that assists managers and supervisors in controlling overtime, meeting production requirements and staying within budget requirements. This software also allows TDB to share the data electronically in flexible report formats in order for the data to be certified by our clients.

In addition, TDB works with its clients when they require utilization of their in-house automated time entry and approval systems.
